When will the film be ready? GLIMPSE is completed and is currently being promoted to European distributors as a 2-Disc Special Edition Promo DVD. Can I buy GLIMPSE at a Danish online shop? Yes, there are several to choose from, BUT be aware that the official Danish 2-Side Special Edition DVD does not have English subtitles on the special features, only on the film itself! So, where can I buy it? For a list of Danish online shops carrying the GLIMPSE DVD, check this link. What video camera did you use? An ordinary consumer DV-camera DCR-TRV25 from Sony. How long did it take to write the script? Three months. From January to March 2005. How did you edit the movie? GLIMPSE was edited using Final Cut Express 2 on an eMac. Will there be a DVD? Yes. The Danish version of the DVD is in the shops. The European (PAL) version is being promoted to distributors at the moment. We are also working on the American (NTSC) version of the 2-Disc Special Edition Promo DVD. Didn't you use a microphone during shooting? Yes, but only the one built into the camera. Since all dialog had to be recorded in Anders' sound studio, there was no need for an external microphone. Is the film in Danish or English? Both Danish and English is spoken in the film. Will there be subtitles? Yes, the 2-Disc Special Edition Promo DVD will feature both Danish and English subtitles. The official Danish release of GLIMPSE does not have English subtitles on the special features, only on the film itself. Didn't you use any sounds from the shoot? None. All the sounds in the movie was recreated in post- production. Both dialog, foley, ambient and music. All in all 3374 individual sound files was used. |
